Application
VRA Soil Herbicide
With the Soil Herbicide app on Farmmaps you can create task maps for variable dosing of these products in various crops. The App allows the smart use of soil maps containing the spatial variation in soil organic matter or clay content in minimizing soil herbicide use. You can make the task map specific for your field and crop by choosing in the interface of the app the product(s) you want to apply, the spray volume and maximum variation around this volume.

VRA Top-Dress N
With the TopDress N-app on farmmaps, you can create task maps for variable nitrogen side dress in potatoes. The app uses the general biomass and spatial variations in the biomass to generate advice and a task map.

VRA Calculator
With the VRA Calculator you can perform calculations on (multiple) input layers using your own mathematical equation. You can create your own data layer or application map. For example, you can use a soil scan and a yield measurement from a previous season to create a fertilizer map.

VRA Zoning
With the Zoning app you can divide a data layer of your field into zones and determine per zone what needs to be done. Use satellite images, height maps, or import your own data to repository of data on FarmMaps. Files can be uploaded as a CSV, geojson, shape (zip) or tiff file. This data can be used in the VRA Calculator app. Where necessary, the data is interpolated to create a plot-covering map layer.

KPI
The basis for the KPIs is the currently published calculation rules for calculating KPIs in the Arable Farming Biodiversity Monitor. These are key figures about yields per crop, nitrogen and other nutrient surpluses, crop protection product use, crop diversity, organic matter supply and more.

Soil C Tool
Soil carbon tool that provides insight in the change in your soil organic matter content over time and that helps you making decisions on field and/or farm level regarding improving your future soil carbon management.

VRA Planting
The VRA planting app calculates a variable planting map for consumption potatoes, based on a lutum map and the desired average planting distance. This apps works only for clay fields.

Irrigation Advice
Irrigation Signal estimates your soil moisture content per plot, up to five days in advance. Irrigation-Signal works for grassland, arable crops and field vegetables. The app provides you with a tailor-made irrigation advice per plot. This prevents drought stress ahead of time, and you’ll never irrigate too much.

Grip on Grass
Grip on grass processes registered grass height and dry matter yield in Feedwedge and Mow Window. Grass height and dry matter yield can be registered manually in Grip on Grass. Dry matter yield can be registered in kg dm/ha. Grass height can be registered in clicks and cm. For specific rising plate meters such as TES, Eijkelkamp and the manual version of Jenquip, a specific registration form is available.

Grassland calender
The grassland calendar is a commonly used tool to register grassland management. In the Farmmaps Grassland calendar grassland management such as grazing, fodder production, fertilization and irrigation are registered with GEO-information. Upon a map a field, or a group of fields, can be selected and management or measurement registered.

Grass Signal
The application provides a model-based estimate of grass growth based on nitrogen, soil moisture and grassland use. It is an approximation of actual growth. To bring the estimate closer to reality, satellite images and/or grass height measurements are used when they are available. The link with this data is fully automatic and produces a better result than model, satellite or grass height separately. For satellite images, the vegetation index WDVIred is used.

VRA Haulmkilling
With the haulm killing app on Farmmaps you can create task maps for variable dosing of potato haulm killing herbicides (desiccants) in potatoes. The App offers you possibilities to translate information about status and spatial variation in the above-ground biomass of the crop into site-specific minimum-effective doses. You must indicate in the input screen which product you want to apply, what specific crop conditions are, the spraying strategy, the spraying volume and maximum variation around this volume.

VRA Late Blight
With the VRA Blight app on Farmmaps you can create task maps for variable dosing of products for late Blight in potatoes, and can be used for a healthy growing crop. The App offers you possibilities to translate information about status and spatial variation in the above-ground biomass of the crop into site-specific minimum-effective doses.

Trijntje
TRIJNTJE helps you make your soil climate-proof. A climate-resistant soil performs better in heavy rain, severe drought and extreme heat. And on a good soil, your crop is more resistant to extreme weather conditions as well.

Tipstar
Tipstar is a crop growth model for potatoes. Tipstar simulates the growth of roots, leaves, stems and tubers. The Tipstar widget is visible on every field where potatoes are grown. Tipstar calculates the current growth and gives a forecast for the rest of the growing season. For the current growth, the crop registration, weather data, soil data and crop parameters are included. The forecast for the rest of the season is based on 30 years of historical weather. In addition, the model calculates the potential yield for the plot, the situation without water and nitrogen shortages. Avoid nitrogen leaching and denitrification by starting with a lower nitrogen application and giving the crop what it really needs with one or two extra applications. Use the VRA top dress N app to calculate a location-specific nitrogen dose. You achieve a higher yield, a more even sorting and that with less nitrogen.

IMAP
User IMAP is intended for growers and advisers who are familiar with the situation of the plot and the location of the ditches along the edges of the plot. The e-Learning module offers the user a low-threshold introduction. The app and the module were developed in the period 2020-2022 in the KIWK Knowledge Impulse Water Quality programme.

Late Blight
BlightApp helps you find the right timing and resources for phytophthora control. BlightApp predicts infection chances and provides spraying advice. The app gives advise on preventive-, curative- and stop sprayings. You can also set up alerts for oospores and tuber infection risk.

Emissionprotocols
Crop protection products should get on the crop and not end up in the environment or surroundings. However, this does occur due to emissions via drift, plot and yard. This application helps arable farmers to understand factors that cause emission risks in the yard or at the plot. And which measures can be used to manage risks. In addition, at a later stage, the application can be used to demonstrate which measures arable farmers use to realize an almost closed yard or plot.
